Christophe Andre's meditation session in time of confinement
At the microphone of Ali Rebeihi, in the program "Grand
Bien vous Fasse", the psychotherapist and columnist on France Inter,
Christophe André, offers you a short meditation session of three minutes to do
at home, wherever you are, to observe your experience in the present moment.
Here is a short initiation session in three minutes
delivered by Christophe André to be done together, as a couple, as a family,
with your children. An opportunity to explain to you what mindfulness
meditation is and how it can be a resource for many of us:
Meditate
together" in three minutes
CHRISTOPHE ANDRÉ: " We start our meditation exercise by
adjusting our posture : trying to understand how we set up our body;
Stay where you are : you are probably sitting, back
straight, feet flat, on the ground, eyes closed and psychological posture, this
is very important;
We have nothing to get, we have no goal to reach, it's just
to observe, to feel what is happening in you at this moment : feel your
breathing, your body is breathing, it does that very, very well, just let it
breathe, let it do exactly as it used to do, just observe the passage of air in
your nose, in your throat;
On inspiration and expiration, just observe how your belly
and your chest rise and fall and how your whole body, quietly, breathes at this
moment : at this instant there is nothing else to do, nothing to succeed, just
to feel the breath which, quietly, comes and goes in your nose, your throat and
your whole body;
Listen to all the sounds : the sounds of the room, the
sounds of the outside;
Observe that thoughts are coming to your mind : we let them
stay there if they want to stay, we let them go if they want to leave. We have
nothing else to do but watch it all, watch our breathing, watch our thoughts
come and go, listen to what's going on around us;
We stay there, quiet, nothing else to do than to feel alive
now in this place , and that is what is wonderful in meditation: (meditation christophe andre)
So, quietly, I suggest you open your eyes, take a deep
breath, smile, tell you that it would be good to do this from time to time
during the day to see what is happening at that moment when we stop: quite
simply to discover our spirit, what is going on in our head and in our body?
"
What is mindfulness
meditation?
The chronicler and psychiatrist explains that
"mindfulness meditation was a small revolution in the world of psychology,
since it is a form of secular meditation. Indeed, before, meditation was
practiced in religious, spiritual, monasteries, etc.
It is a form of france inter christophe andre that we have
therefore been able to use in the world of health, in the world of education
and everywhere and which consists simply in observing his experience here and
now in the present moment ".
